The Toyota IO wasn’t just a 4-seater mini-car with the smallest body,  but also  the most competitive price. Specially being designed by adopting several innovation as a break-through of an old image of a small car.

The appearance might not be the same as its rival such as Smart Fortwo, but as the authorized distributor said, the Toyota IQ had a better features and price.

With its tiny appearance, less than 3 meters long, this car was longer than Smart by 290mm, bbut not like Smart, the IQ’s cabin was designed for 4 passenger with the shorter dimension, 100mm, than Mini Cooper. IQ was often called as a 3+1 car, which means it is comfortable to load 3 adult passengers and 1 child.

Sitting behind the steering wheel of this small car is not different than a normal car. The view from inside the car was quite wide, and every side of the car was well-monitoring. Other innovations of this IQ were on the steering composition and center dashboard position on passenger’s seat. This made the driving also normal, and with the selling price around USD 40,000, the cabin facility with 5.8 inch LCD navigation system monitor was also appropriate.

While we start to drive on this 16 inch-tires car, it felt light with an adequate acceleration. But the most important was the 1000CC engine capacity with the new technology of Carbon Dioxide cutting technology able to reduce the gas emitted under 100 gram/km. Thus, made this IQ is enviromental friendly and free pollution. As for the safety factor, it also guaranteed with the installment of airbag system for the driver and passengers.
